Woodhaven Baptist Church is a group of loving, caring, growing believers who share the following values

We believe in the importance of worship

Both the Old and the New Testaments place a high priority on worship. Our first responsibility as believers is to bow in the presence of a Holy God.

We believe in the "equipping of the saints"

God has called each believer to ministry. We believe part of our responsibility as church is to equip believers to serve. We seek to accomplish this through Bible studies, discipleship training, and other small group events.

we believe in the priority of evangelism

Jesus commanded His disciples to go into the world with the message of the gospel, saying, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..." Matthew 28:19-20

we take the bible at face value, believe it literally and hold it to be the only source of truth concerning god and mankind's relationship with him

We believe as 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
We believe in the authority and inerrancy of god's Word, the Holy Bible.

we believe jesus christ is the son of god and the only savior of mankind

Scripture tells us, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
